As we all take a minute of reflection to remember the events that shaped our lives in the year 2011 and as we anticipate with excitement what can be in 2012, I invite you to take a moment to watch a recent Diane Sawyer interview with Gaby Gifford. You may know of her as the congresswoman who was shot in the brain in a senseless act of violence. I am sharing this beautiful story in its entirety(41 minutes) because I think it’s a testament for all of us who are building our lives, helping the economy, contributing to our communities and doing everything we can to bring out the best in ourselves and all those we touch in our daily lives. It’s a message that with love, support, positive attitudes, and hard work, there is no limit to what can be achieved by any individual.
